Ivan Agius grew up by the sea, deeply connected to Malta’s maritime traditions through regattas and water sports from a young age. With over a decade of experience operating water taxis, he now leads a dedicated team serving guests across Valletta, the Three Cities, and Sliema. The traditional dgħajsa boats are built by Colin, a master craftsman who has constructed dozens of vessels for both water taxi use and regattas. Today, around 10 experienced boatmen work daily to offer safe, scenic, and authentic journeys across the Grand Harbour — blending craftsmanship, heritage, and hospitality in every ride.
